There’s a practicality to self-realization, and we can begin to live life at 200% once you know your true Infinite Nature, which is the simple awareness that is aware. You can close your eyes and simply be the awareness aware of itself, and that’s very calming, because we disconnect our energy from the whole game.
When we function from Effortless Being, we remain in alignment with our infinite nature. Even though forms are appearing within the body of wisdom, they are appearing effortlessly. What you find is that you see your true nature as this infinite, impersonal field of awareness.
From there, the option to step into the personal realm is something we realize is optional. Generally, life is portrayed as having a starting date and an end date to the experience of being a human being. This creates a frantic search for experiences and things—a feeling of pressure of time. That’s just part of the game. When you see that you are remaining as this infinite, open space of awareness, you recognize that the human realm itself is optional.
For most people, it’s like they’re playing the part of a character. You have the leading role in The Life and Times of You. The way most people live is that they become so enamored with the role they’re playing that they become completely attached to it and believe that’s what they are.
But it’s a bit like being able to remain as the actor even while playing the part. The infinite being is like the actor, and the character is your identity—the part that’s being portrayed. Just as in a play, the actor never truly becomes the character, in the same way the infinite being never became your personal identity.
Let’s talk about this and anything else you’d like at my next online event…
