We remain as the infinite Being, so never actually incarnate as a human being; it’s a projection.

You are the pristine, infinite, effortless, timeless Being. That’s all everything is. Every human being, every animal, everything in this apparent manifestation remains as the infinite Being, and we can never move from that.

The reason we have this experience is for the intensity. On the infinite level, we can experience impersonal love because our infinite nature is impersonal Being. The personal belongs to the relative, so this gives us the opportunity to experience contrast.

If you’re the ocean, you remain the ocean even when you appear as a wave. The opportunity to experience life as a human is a form of limitation, but the infinite Self is never disturbed or affected. Sometimes this is called cosmic law. It means there is no possibility of anything within the relative polluting or affecting the Absolute, because the Absolute is pristine, and we remain as that.

For instance, we can experience the infinite love of the Absolute in an impersonal way, where it is simply the totality of love for everything. We can also filter that into personal experience, and that’s where the intensity arises. It focuses love into personal experience rather than remaining purely impersonal.

This creates a level of intensity because there is a poignancy to that kind of experience. In human love, the poignancy comes from limitation: it can only last for a certain period of time, and at some point it will be lost. As a result, it feels precious.

The reason we do this is because it gives intensity to the experience. If you know yourself as the infinite Being—infinite love, infinite potential, infinite bliss—the human experience is enriched rather than intensified.
