Following my realization of Infinite Being, there was a recognition that it wasn’t quite what I expected. I had always felt that realization would be the complete end to suffering. But the invitations to suffering continued.
This gave rise to the question, why is there still suffering even after there’s been realization? The answer came effortlessly–and it just sort of revealed itself. There are two aspects to the answer:
One, is that self-realization is utterly simple. It’s so simple, in fact, that it’s just a case of mistaken identity. It’s really that effortlessness is the foundation of being, and effort is an option. But because we’re all so engaged in effort, we overlook the simplicity of effortlessness.
Two, there’s a distinction between Impersonal Being (which we always rest as) and the experience of the personal mode (which is purely optional). In that distinction there can be realization quite easily because once Impersonal Being/Impersonal/Awareness is seen, then it’s seen to be distinct from the personal realm. And when the distinction is seen, it results in realization.
I go into more detail about this in my next event. It’d be a pleasure to have you with me…
With love,
David Bingham
